Description
Black Liqueur – Black Cherries, blackcurrants and blackberries, sweetened with honey. The black cherries were picked here at Inshriach and soaked in gin for 2 years. The blackcurrants came from our gardens and the blackberries were grown by John Christie in Kincraig. These were steeped individually for 4 months then combined to give each ingredient its moment in the limelight. Black is sweetened to the minimum required level using sugar and honey from Drumguish. Also at the top end of abv for a liqueur at 29.2% because… who wants a weak syrupy liqueur?
Pink Liqueur – We harvested rowan and berberis berries over two years and kept them frozen until we had enough. These were steeped in gin for 4 months. Two delightfully dry and un-liqueury ingredients combine to make something most unusual and dangerously moreish. Again sweetened to the minimum and with a dose of honey to keep them right. The Pink came out at 24.6%.
Only available as a pair of 35cl bottles and only 100 pairs available. No artificial additives whatsoever, that colour is the real deal. Drink them straight over ice or add tonic.
